[New York, NY – March 20, 2024] Today, Janna Jamison celebrates the release of her long-awaiting song “Bambi Eyes” via Satsuma Collective. The track marks the first single from her forthcoming sophomore EP Lovesuite.
Listen to “Bambi Eyes” HERE.
The track, produced by Alexander Frieden, is about the complications of being in a relationship with an older person and flaunts an early-aughts pop-punk with a modern twist. “Bambi Eyes” keeps up with Janna’s trademark wit and emotionally transparent lyrics. “I’m not the type to chase, but I am racing you and we both hate to lose.”
Speaking about the song Janna says, “I first took the project to TikTok, as I did with many one-off songs I wrote that summer to journal this tumultuous relationship, except this one felt different. This one took off in a small way that I hadn’t yet experienced on the platform, garnering over 70k views, and people returning to my comments for almost 4 years asking, “When are you releasing Bambi Eyes!?”
Well, the wait is finally over and fans have even more to expect from Janna on her upcoming EP Lovesuite. See Janna perform at Berlin Under A in New York City on March 27th, with Lia Pappas-Kemps and Mackenzie Shrieve. Get tickets HERE.
“Janna Jamison makes music for people who view a trip to the therapist as an opportunity for stand-up comedy.” – Olivia McCormack, The Washington Post.
